PRODUCTION COORDINATION

San Diego Productions Inc has 18 years of experience producing fashion and advertising photo shoots. We know time is important when it comes to production. We have the connections and the tools to make your production run smoothly. By having a local producer on your shoot you get someone that has extensive knowledge of the area, has a digital library of locations at their fingertips, knows who to contact to get the permits you need quickly and you save on travel expenses!

Your San Diego Productions producer will also be driving one of our production vans (a customized mobile production office). This too saves on costs and has many uses during your production. It offers comfortable transportation for 6 and can carry extra equipment and props to and from your location. It is equipped with all the little extras that could come in handy and save countless hours on your production! A copier, 1000 watt power inverter, office supplies, Ice chest, fire extinguishers, first aid kit, over the counter medicines, batteries, tool kit, etc, etc. and it is also stocked with photo gear such as a c stand, apple box, camera flags and reflectors just in case there is a need. Having a San Diego Productions producer on your shoot can save valuable time and money which is essential in a successful production. San Diego Productions inc. sets the standards on production coordination!

LOCATION SCOUTING

San Diego Productions Inc. offers professional location scouting by a person that not only has extensive knowledge of the area but knows what to look for when looking through the camera lens. We have hundreds of locations on file in our existing library of 10 different cities. We will be happy to do a file pull for you with your specific needs and then go from there for the initial scout. Location scouting is done with a professional camera and lens. Once we have the photos, we download them and use a photo stitching program to give the viewer a wide angle view of the location and surroundings. We then post them to our site for viewing. Each location receives a location number and photo number for easy identification. Compass readings of new location scouts are also available upon request. We look forward to finding your perfect location!

MODEL / TALENT CASTINGS

San Diego Productions Inc. maintains an ongoing library of talent of all ages. We hold castings throughout the year for the unusual, the talented and avid sports players. We have relationships with all local agencies and can provide professional model and talent castings. We can find your exact needs through local agencies, our library or even do a street casting for you. We will photograph and or video tape your casting and post to our website the same day for viewing and selection. We have a large email list of local talent that gets notified for every casting we do so we insure a great turnout.

Need a biker gang or a group of beautiful girls to appear or even serve cocktails at your corporate event? We have it! Need a professional golfer, runner, tennis or basketball player for your photo shoot? We have it! Need music or entertainment for your next event? We can arrange that too! PRODUCTION READY RVS

San Diego Productions Inc. own and operate our own fully equipped production ready 34′ RV’s with 12′ slide outs for more space once on location. All of our coaches have been professionally modified to accommodate our industry. They have front and rear make up stations with make up chair and a large wardrobe area that offers ample hanging space. They are equipped with a full kitchen, including refrigerator, microwave, oven, coffee maker, espresso machine (for an afternoon pick me up), tea pot, blender (for smoothies), toaster, paper products, silverware, ironing board, professional iron and clothing steamer. We also have a photo cart, rake, broom, rolling clothing rack, extension cords, tape, rope and office supplies on board for your use at no additional charge. All of our drivers are professionals with a neat and helpful attitude with knowledge of your chosen location city. They hold class b drivers license with passenger endorsements and are experienced in the production industry. You will find our drivers to be some of the best in the industry! Motor homes are available to travel anywhere you need them! Internet Access is also available at additional charge.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL

San Diego Productions Inc. has all types of equipment and expendables in stock and available at anytime for your production or event. Grip gear, photo carts, generators, tables, chairs, easy ups, on location internet access, theme props, wardrobe racks, steamers, etc. If we don’t have it we will be happy to locate it for you. Delivery for all of our equipment is available. Please check with us first as our rental department is expanding all the time.

FULL-SERVICE PROP HOUSE

San Diego Productions Inc. has hundreds of common and unusual props such as indoor and outdoor furniture, antiques, sporting gear, along with many other items that are available in stock and ready to be used at a moment’s notice! We represent many privately owned classic, unique and exotic vehicles including all types of boats and water craft. We have many privately owned animals on file and available for your shoot too! Please have a look through all of our common, crazy and sometimes cute inventory. Make it a habit to visit our library before you start every production. We are constantly adding to our inventory so check back often to see what’s available. You never know what you will find. If you don’t see what you’re looking for just drop us an e mail with a detailed description and we will locate it for you. We love a challenge! All props can be sent to any location no matter where you are or who is doing your production at additional shipping and handling costs. If you plan on having many props on your production and need help with handling and placement we can also provide you with a professional prop stylist and/or truck. Delivery and pick up service is available 24/7.

You say “An Adirondack chair would be perfect for that location tomorrow morning!” We say worn, weathered or freshly painted? What color? We have 10 to choose from along with many other seating options.

PERMIT ACQUISITION

San Diego productions Inc. is a full service production company but we know that sometimes all you need is a little help with where to begin or who to call. For those times we offer permitting services for your next event or production. We have years of experience and can save you lots of time and headaches by letting us handle all of your permitting needs. We also carry our own liability and workman’s comp policy and can help with providing certificates of insurance that is required for most all locations (Additional fees apply for all additionally insured certificates). Weather it be a simple on location wedding ceremony, a corporate party on the beach or a 2 week production we can handle any and all permits!
